George F. Parker, III
George Parker has been the firm's managing partner since 1990. He has practiced civil litigation since receiving his J.D. from Cornell University Law School in 1968. Most of George's litigation practice is in business, commercial, and probate litigation, including both trials and appeals.
George is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. George has been a partner in a number of small firms since 1973, and has been a managing partner since 1981. He serves with the BBA/BMC ADR project at the Boston Municipal Court covering Pre-Trial Conferences and serves with the Lawyer for the Day program in the Suffolk County Probate Court.
George Parker was born in 1942 in Buffalo, New York, graduated from Public High School in Wellesley, Massachusetts in 1960, from Hebron Academy in 1961, and from Cornell University with a B.A. in 1965. He married Nancy (Lewis) in 1967 and they have lived in Concord, Massachusetts since 1973. They have two children, Paul, the Executive Director of the Cape Cod Commercial Hook Fishermans' Association, and Ned, a recent graduate from Eckerd College who majored in creative writing.
George has worked with children at many age levels in the youth sports programs in Concord in soccer, baseball and hockey, having also served as President of the Concord-Carlisle Youth Hockey organization. He enjoys many sports and outdoor activities such as golf, skiing and scuba diving, and fishes for striped bass and bluefish, the latter with his wife, Nancy.
